Bento cakes serve two to four people. Unlike my custom celebration cakes, these are meant to be a kind gesture, not the whole event. A thank you, happy birthday, happy anniversary, telling someone you love them, you got it! Think of it as the equivalent of buying someone a bouquet of flowers! Who doesn’t love a gift they can eat?

Bento cakes are a 4" mini cake and come with a fondant stamp choice from my offerings (stamp designs created by Vancouver Laser Cut Studio), choice of up to 4 different colours, and a cake flavour from my offerings, topped with corresponding sprinkles & a light dusting of edible glitter. The style of the bento is how it’s seen on the examples in the gallery below. The cake will be packaged in a 6x6 compostable takeout container featuring Bakes by Kenz's logo on top.

If you'd like more than one bento you'll have to fill out a separate form.

You can look at these as inspiration for your bento cake or to get familiar with what they look like! The possibilities are endless. The style you see here are the only styles available. My bento cakes don’t feature any buttercream writing as we’d be dealing with 2-3 inches of space to write on. Fondant stamp or nothing!

This will just be for the inside of your cake, the buttercream outside will be either chocolate or vanilla.

Allergies?

Please note my kitchen would not be suitable for anyone with extreme allergies. Please reach out by email directly if you have any questions regarding allergens.

Choice of cake base colour? (1 colour only)

For coloured buttercream the outside must be vanilla. If you want the exterior to be chocolate just type chocolate.

Choice of fondant stamp?

This looks best if it matches the base colour of your cake. Select which message you need and I can send you all my current offerings and variations for that message. If you don't need a stamp just select no stamp (I cannot write on bento cakes it's a stamp or nothing unfortunately!)

Choice of 2 colours for the piping on top?

If you want a monochromatic look (using different shades of your base colour) type monochromatic in the text space.

E-transfer for payment

After submitting this form I will reply to your email as soon as I can to confirm if I can proceed with your order. From there I do require payment via e-transfer of $50 to be made to bakesbykenz@outlook.com. Please don't send payment until I've sent you an invoice to reflect your order.

I fully understand the statement above and that my order will only proceed if Bakes by Kenz can accommodate my order.
